Empress XXV
The Absolute Perrrrfect Silver Leopard Empress
Kir Royale
The Silver Anniversary Reign began with the closest election in the history of the Imperial Court with Empress Kir Royale winning by 2 votes out of the 1400 which were cast.
The 25th Reign kicked off at BJs Carousel where Tom and Kir began the year by singing a duet At the Beginning and worked together as a team throughout the year setting an example of teamwork for
the 25th Imperial Family.
It was a year of great change in Denver. The Matchmaker closed its doors, Mikes changed ownership, and the Colfax Mining Company changed names and suddenly we had lost three show bars. We also
lost Dads Coffee House in June where the Court and Community had supported the Gay Youth for many years. But with this change also came an increased focus in working with other organizations in the
city and the Courts standing with many organizations rose to an all time high.
Tom & Kir were the first Monarchs in many years to stay overnight at the Rocky Mountaineers Motorcycle Clubs Golden Fleece Run, organized ICRMEs support of Project Angel Heart and continued
the Thanksgiving Food Drive for CAP and the Pink Ribbon Campaign. Tom & Kir had the first "Youth" titles and the 25th Reign helped with fundraising for the initial year of Rainbow
Alley.
With the support of two wonderful PRs, Prince Royal XXV Kent Epperson and Princess Royal XXV Crystle Fairchild and two incredible lines Grand Duke Tim Faase, Grand Duchess Mikayla Royale, Czar
Greg Vick, Czarina Alexis Del Rey, Marquis Matthew Duncan, Marquisa Heather Lane, Don Danielle Hehrer, Reina Destiny Richards, Count Kelly T., Countess Veronica St. Andrews, Baron Gary Burchfield,
Baroness Jamie Lynne, Crown Prince Paul Stackpole, Crown Princess Savannah Comfort Royale, Dauphin Stephen Gerow, Dauphine Donna Denial, Lord Patti Stout, Imperial Lady Sue Stout, the 25th Imperial
Family worked together to build strong community.
Empress Kir Royale and the Empress Line hosted one of the most successful Snowballs ever (and our last event at the Regency Hotel) entitled "In the Palace of the Ice Goddess" raising over
$10,000 in cash and in kind donations for POCCAA and Rainbow Alley.
With the loss of the Regency, the Imperial Court went looking for possible new venues and Emperor Tom J. and the Emperors Line hosted King of Hearts at the LoDo Music Hall entitled In the
Fortress of the God of War.
