Trauma & Unhoused Resources

        The Gathering Place provides low-barrier, trauma-informed care to women, gender-diverse people, and children facing homelessness and instability. We address the root causes of poverty, marginalization, and oppression, offering comprehensive services that guide our members from crisis to stability. With access to basic needs like food, shelter, and clothing, as well as long-term support such as housing assistance and mental health care, we empower individuals to rebuild their lives—all at no cost to those we serve.

        We believe in the strength of community. Our core values—empowerment, inclusivity, and hope—are at the heart of everything we do. We create a safe, welcoming space where everyone is treated with respect, trust, and unconditional acceptance.

        I Support the Girls Denver was established in April 2017, and has been busy connecting with more than 95 local organizations to provide menstrual products, bras, underwear, and more. We also have done disaster relief in response to the Troublesome and Marshall fires, among others.
